While implementing construction plans for the ALICE Community Center spaces, Gerald Wallace has remained committed to ensuring young people do not continue to fall through the cracks.
Since June of 2023, Gerald has leveraged temporary spaces to provide immediate critical programming for students with after-school & summer tutoring and college and career preparation.
Our Program
Tutoring
Daily personalized tutoring across all school subjects to improve academic proficiency.
ACT Prep
Comprehensive ACT preparation program, including practice tests, study materials, and strategies for success. We utilize an online platform to track student’s progress in English, Math, and Science throughout the year.
College or Trades Preparation
We prepare students for pursuing college or trades jobs with our post-secondary preparation sessions. We offer college visits and teach everything from exploring career pathways, selecting the right college or trades school, and how to complete applications.
Essay Writing
Writing support for students to develop essays for school, college applications, and scholarships.
Career Readiness Exploration
Resources and guidance to help students make informed decisions about their future career and take actionable steps towards career goals.
FAFSA Assistance
Workshops for parents/guardians to support completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We have dedicated staff to guide parents/guardians through the process of applying to receive financial aid.
Financial Literacy
We teach students the basics of managing finances, including budgeting, saving, and making smart financial decisions for their future.
